Late 19th Century Imari Bowl. Meiji Period. Tripartite hand-painted design with ferns and flowers on interior. Rising Sun and Lotus Blossoms on exterior.Approximately 9 1/2” across at opening. 3 1/4” high from base. Excellent Condition. Unique design
Ancient. Possibly drinking cup or water holder for use in cooking. Vessel features a Man running with a feathered object. Red Clay. Approximately 8" in height. Rounded bottom.
There are two of these vessels, each the same height. the second has different design.
Peruvian Calabash Cup. Decorated with scorpions and other designs. Rounded bottom has floral decoration Some fading of the brown coloration (possibly due to sun exposure) but otherwise in very good condition. Early 19th Century.
Consisting of 8 faceted sides with sixteen six-sided medallions in the widest part of the bowl and sixteen trapezoidal shaped medallions-at the top and bottom edges of the bowl. Opening at the top of the bowl measures 8”. Total width 91/2”. Height 4 “
