The Terre Haute Northern Territory Celebration Committee presented this collection of historic essays, photographs and profiles of notable people, places and events significant to the Wabash Valley region. This text chronicles noted figures from the region such as William Henry Harrison, ninth president of the USA, the Battle at Old Fort Harrison and Oscar Baur of the Terre Haut Brewing Co. alongside accounts of many notable regional figures. Also essays of historical interest regarding schools, pioneers in industry and heroes of public service.
It is a regionally specific celebration of one hundred and fifty years.
